The Core Conversion

Starting Nov. 1, our core computer system will undergo an upgrade, bringing improvements to everyday banking. Please read the following information about the temporary impact to member service.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

  • The core system upgrade will take place Friday, Nov. 1 through Monday, Nov. 4.
  • The online banking upgrade will also take place Friday, Nov. 1 through Monday, Nov. 4.
  • Starting Nov. 5, our Audio Response number will change to 1.833.633.9156.
  • Several services will be unavailable during this time. See Service Availability Schedule below.

STEPS TO TAKE BEFORE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1

  • Take care of transactions such as wire transfers, corporate checks or large cash withdrawals.
  • Note your account number and bill pay information for easy reference.
  • Download/print previous statements.

One-time process for users who have logged into online banking within the last 12 months.

New Online Banking Sign Up Instructions (Existing Users)

Use your Member Number on the "Online Banking ID" field below. (One-time sign up process.)

For the password field, please use SAFCU followed by the last 4 digits of the primary accountholder’s Social Security Number.

For example: SAFCU1234.

Once logged in, you will immediately be prompted to create your new Online Banking ID and password to one of your choosing. Be sure to note the ID and password requirements on each screen.

What is a core processing system?

The core processing system is the computer system that Sea Air Federal Credit Union uses to maintain Members' accounts and loans, and to process transactions.


Why is Sea Air FCU converting to a new core processing system?

Our new core processing system will allow us to serve you more efficiently and enable us to offer you new products and services in the future.


Is my personal data safe during the conversion?

Yes, your personal data and account information is safe and secure, as always.


Are my funds still safe and secure?

Yes, your funds remain secure. All Sea Air Federal Credit accounts continue to be insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Share Insurance Fund up to $250,000 per account. In addition, American Share Insurance (ASI) provides excess savings insurance with an additional $250,000 at no cost to members.
